The EVO ones are the standard part, if you buy from BMW. I understand that`s not true for the aftermarket. EVO rotors are a different casting. The surface perpendicular to the pad surface has a raised ridge 1/4" wide next to where the wheel bolts on. The EVO rotors are supposed to last much longer than the original design.

the evo ones are now the std part right? whats the difference between the Evo ones and the original ones (as would of been fitted to my `87 M3).
