So, I would check your ICV first--as I bet you this is the culprit. If you change the ICV and still experience the problem, you will have a bit of electronics work to do--post again, and we'll try to help.

I posted last week about my high idle that seemed to be coincident with changing to the Evo airbox. Still not sure what's causing the high idle. It's not consistently high...it'll idle high at one or two stop lights and then normally at the next one. At anyrate, today while I was driving, I noticed that the revs didn't drop off as quickly as they should when I let off the gas during shifts. Sometimes they'll drop off fine, and then the next shift they won't drop off properly at all. Or if I come to a stop, the revs take a year and a day to drop down to idle. At the next stop they'll drop off normally. Would this most likely be caused by a bad/dirty ICV, or does it sound like the root of the problem lies somewhere else? Any ideas would be extremely helpful. Thanks.
