per their website - not sure if their stuff is good or not. I am now really curious what a stock rebuild costs. Not that I want to grenade my motor to find out....
Mike Robinson's work first hand and it is first rate !!! He has several of the M50 swaps on the E30 cars. He has a 1985 Euro E30 that has a regular M50 325 in it with a JC chip in it with M3 E0 interior, full suspension, etc. for $8000, I have driven the car and it is very nice, very fast, will probably beat a stock E30 M3 in a straight line and maybe even on the track since it is so light. It does not have power steering, no power windows, no sunroof, and is the Euro mode, which I am told is very light.
We also have to remember you're getting a fresh REBUILT engine compared to a USED engine that is simply swapped into the car.
