I replaced the selector rod joint and foam sugar cube plus added the delrin carrier bushings in addition to adding the UUC short shifter. The original knob was loose when I reinstalled it but I haven't had any buzz for three years. I just upgraded to the illuminated knob as the original popped off during a hard shift. I have also heard that new motor mounts can help with the buzzing. Good luck.

I know this has been discussed before. However, I thought once I replaced my shifter with the UUC short shift kit it would eliminate the vibration. Didn't make a difference. Anybody have any ideas?
