Always get base idle, t bodies synchronized and CO level adjusted by a competent BMW or BMW tuner shop who really knows the earlier M series engines.

This is the single most important tune up you should have done.

Cost shoul dbe no more than $150 and that is up there.

Your car will drive better than you ever thought.

You should have this done following a valave adjustment too as t-bodies will fall out of synch from this too.
