I am not saying anything personally against them when I say this.

If you ponied up the $ to buy your M3 then you can pony the $ up for an S14 rebuild or you shouldn't have bought this model of car.

I am not being rude so do not misinterpret what I am saying to you.

If the conversions blow away the S14 then drag racing is your key form of use w/ this car. I f you hit the traack on a regular basis you can kiss that sweet handling goodbye. Period, end of story.

If you decide to do an S14 rebuild then do a 2.5 conversion. I got one done for $4,500 whixh included all new parts except block and rods. Fully balanced and blueprinted bottom w/ all new EVO III parts assembled by a primo engine builder here in the Northeast. It also included every gasket, parts and hardware to completely assemble the top end properly w/ 2.3 stock head & cams etc.

Get yourself a technician that has actually done some S14 rebuilds to do your work or you may be sorry in the end.

Bottom line is my car flies! Only the E36 M3 w/ nice mods can keep up or pass.

Really consider what you are going to do to this car before you go salppping something in there.

What will you do come resale time?

HTH Eric
