In Reply to: HELP!torque specs on 8mm allen bolt for rear axle? posted by Eric on January 12, 2002 at 21:31:50:

i have the zionsville repair manual CD and can't find the torque specs for the allen bolts that connect the inner CV joint/axle to the differential. is this just one of those "till it feels tight" situations?
thanks guys
Eric

would this be called the CV bolt to flange @ 42 ft/lbs?
this sounds the most correct, is it?
for you guys that have done this before, does this seem like the correct spec? i don't think you can torque those allen bolts much more than that.
thanks guys
Eric
