...suggests that this is bad. I'm not claiming to be any kind of expert...this is just what I have read from many other sources. Sounds logical and makes sense to me. When it comes to safety, I'd rather not take the chance of a crushed spine. I'd rather spend the extra $ for a harness bar or better yet a full roll bar with harness bars built in(which is what I'm going with in my '72 02) than skimp and take the chances that others are wrong. I dunno...that's just my humble opinion. Corners shouldn't be cut when it comes to safety. =)
