Usually about a month. Depending upon what type of clear you used. Products vary too. Some people wait 2 months- that's fine, it's just that the clear won't be as easy to wet sand as if it was freshly painted... We usually wet sand, buff it out & then glaze it, than tell the customer it is safe to wax it in about a month. You want to give the clear about a month to "breathe", then seal it w/ wax-
