I read your post regarding your past experience with BMP. I am truly sorry that you were treated in that manner. We have had some growing pains for the last couple of years and we are continually working to improve our customer service. We currently have two departments available to place orders. One is to inquire about details regarding our parts and BMW's .They are answered by senior employees who have more experience. The other one is Express Orders. This is for the customer who has a catalog and has no technical questions. This is answered by our order takers. If a question should arise, they are to transfer it or get the answer from a senior salesman. We hope this new arrangement will meet the needs of all our customers. I have also read your update regarding the your friend. Please have him contact me personally so I can research his complaint further.

my last experience with BMP was sad. i called inquiring about the fuel pressure regulator that i saw in the new catalogue. I was prepared to buy it, but had some questions since i wasn't very familiar with how these work. I'm sorry that i do not remember the persons name, but he was very short, and treated me like i knew nothing. (i feel that i'm pretty mechanicly inclined, i'm going to school for an A&P liscense, and as soon as i'm done writing this, i'm off to install my rear subframe after I re-welded it from cracking the differential mounting points from "spirited" driving and auto-x's)

However I have been very happy with turnermotorsports, and have spent thousands of dollars with them (I work in retail and know that customers can "exagerate" money spent at the store, but i can show you recipts if you like) mainly because will and doug are very curtious and are willing to explain anything that i have questions about. Many of the things i bought from turner i origionally saw in my BMP catalogue, but never bought from them only becuase of the customer service.

Now you may regain my buisness if you can tell me what the torque specs are on 8mm allen bolts that bolt the inner CV joint/axle to the differential.

My good friend is also another unsatisfied customer, he needed a new clutch for his 88 325 super ETA. he called BMP at least 3 times. 1st time the service person said that they did not carry a clutch for that specific model (it's pretty rare) but after being told from other people that BMP was the only place that has a clutch for that model, he called back. 2nd time the person was rude, but told him that they did have the clutch in stock. At this time he was negotiating buying a 95 M3, so a clutch wasn't on his priority list money wise. after the new car purchase was settled he called back reluctantly for the third time, and then again the service representative said that they did not have the clutch in stock. he was not as rude as the 2nd guy, but still not pleasant.

Luckily one of the fellow club members in our chapter also works at the BMW dealer and he was able to source a clutch for that car from Germany, and he actually got it cheaper than from BMP.

Both of us really like the products you carry, and there are many things in the current catalogue that I would like to order, but I wont, because I don't like to talk to your service representatives.
