I've had my MAF for almost 3 years...i had a few bugs, esp during summer when its hot, the car will run rough initially and mainly when you stop at the traffic etc, the car might just die...but the payoff is great.
I recently reinstalled my maf, takes about 5 minutes to do so, oh my god...i can tell the difference with this cool weather, the car pulls real strong to 8000rpm.
I dynoed my car at 182hp and 166 torque.
There's a guy on the SIG who is developing a MAF kit...and he's got about 187hp to the wheels.

p/s: if you do have the money to spring for the MAF...i'd do so. A buddy of mine rode in my car last week and he wants one too...on his 2.5L motor...that'll be a blast.
