a clearcoat over the bare aluminum plenum and valve cover(like Leo's car...I really like that look). First, I can only find 500 degree clear engine paint. Is this going to hold up, or is 1200 degree really the way to go? Does anyone know where I can pick up some 1200 degree clear? Next question, is what strippers are safe for aluminum. None of the products seem to really say which metals they are safe on, and I've heard that some products will pit aluminum. So what's best and safest. Thanks for all of your help!

Jeff
