....I think they may actually be made for them by Wurth....And they are really not very expensive. I bought some in large aerosol cans when I re-did the wheels of my E28 M535i.

I then used a few light coats of clear lacquer (top coat) over this. One word of advice: Let the silver dry REALLY well before applying any clear coat. I found that if I did it too soon it somehow 'solubalised' the surace of the silver paint and made it appear a slightly darker shade..not an unpleasant shade but if you want the colour to stay true to the 'brighter' silver intended I'd leave it at least overnight.
