IMO you can't really judge this mod that way. Because it adds everywhere, as if you added cubic inches. So you may gain peak torque and HP but you gain higher percentages at either end of the RPM range. Tuned on the same car, MAF or A-N should make the same power if the same intake setup is used ahead of the plenum and both are equally well tuned. Part of where you gain with A-N or A-N/MAP is in response. In the case of a TPS system there is basically no lag, since accel enrichment is based upon the rate of change of the throttle position whereas AFM or MAF need to wait until the air moving through them change sufficiently which takes longer.
