Jeremy is correct. You cannot go to another county or jurisdiction to get the car smogged. It must pass under the test that is administered where you reside. He is also correct in the car passing despite modifications. The cat on these cars virtually obliterates all emissions. That is why they are so expensive!!

I BELIEVE IT HAS TO BE IN YOUR HOME TOWN. YOU SHOULDN'T HAVE ANY PROBLEMS THOUGH. I PASSED A SMOG II WITH FLYING COLORS, AND I AM RUNNING A HOTTER CAM THAN STOCK WITH A 2.5L STROKER. THE CAR BARELY REGISTERED. MY FRIEND'S M3 IS ALL STOCK AND PASSED NO PROBLEM ALSO.
