I live in Santa Cruz county, but I smog my six cars in Santa Clara county with no problems. However, in your case, you are under smog 2. You must go through some kind of load test on a dyno, right? In your case, I believe you must stay in your county since you are not exempt from the load testing.

When smogging a car in CA, do we have to smog it in the city that the car is registered in, or can we go to another city to do this. EXAMPLE- if one lives in Stockton, CA, can he/she smog car in San Francisco, CA.

The place that I am from has Smog II.
