Having spoken to Privilege about this, it sounds as though they won't give out trackday cover automatically anymore. I don't know if you can pay extra and get cover for unlimited trackdays. I suspect you can't, because their rep reckoned they thought the trackday game was too risky. I'm still going to keep ringing around for a better deal.......they want nearly 2 grand off me.

Have you any idea how much Priv. charge for adding it to a policy. Actually my insurance is up for renewl in a few months so will find out then if u dont know.

At the moment I`m doing the odd trackday without cover. I`m just thinking, if I break it I`ll have to fix it myself. Not good if I were to write it off though.
Each person is liable for their own car only, so at elast if I rear end a ferrari I`ll only have to fix up my own damage:)

I tried Adrian Flux, and they were cheaper, but didn't include trackday cover. The reason I get free trackday cover from Privilege is because I joined them before August 2000. Anyone joining after that wouldn't get trackday cover for free. If I left them and then went back to them, I wouldn't get it free again.

another one is Adrian flux.
I`m with Privilege but I dont think I have trackday cover, probably because I didnt ask for it at the time 8-)

I'm presently with Privilege Insurance, and my policy is due for renewal. They give trackday insurance at no extra cost. Does anyone have an insurer that does the same, so I can get a quote from them? The alternative is to pay 80 to 105 per trackday for specific cover for my 1990 E30 M3, from a company called Competition Car Insurance. This would allow me to get a cheaper quote for insurance for everyday driving, but if I do 6 or more trackdays, it would be cheaper to stick with Privilege.
