I have been running 225/45X16 HTRZ`s (not the II`s) for over 15K miles and they`re the best street tires I`ve had on the car. Equal to Pirelli P6000 summer tires in the wet, and BETTER in the dry. I`ve done a couple of autocrosses on them and they`re still on the car, and still quiet and smooth. I wouldn`t recommend 225 wide tires in the snow, however.

I'm thinking of running these on the street 235/40/17, Anyone have opinions?

Seem to be pretty good, especially for the $$$.

Can anyone compare them to the Kumho 712s?
