Anyway - if you want a cheap daily driver that is a little less expensive to maintain BUT is not nearly as capeable or as much fun to drive as an M3 - by all means get the 325. If you're having this much trouble with the decision it tells me that you're just not the ideal M3 owner.
I need some last thoughts from those of you familiar to the 1990 E30 BMWs. This afternoon I drove an immaculate 1990 325i that only had 53,000 on it!!! Some grandmother traded it in over the weekend and I was given the first opportunity to drive it. The car was fantastic with loads of power and a perfect leather interior. They are asking $7950 for it and are going to throw a timing belt chained in free of charge. Just wanted some words of encouragement and/or advice about buying this automobile. My gut is telling me to buy it, but my conscience is slowing me down. I just don't want to buy a car that is going to spend me out of house and home. I have to call the guy back by 9:00pm central time.
Thanks for time,
