Hello All,

C'mon you all. Let's get enrolled for this race. If we do not get more of
you signed up ASAP we risk losing our own run group with NASA! This is
going to be a fantastic event and it is close to a ton of you (read: no
hotel costs)! Not only is this race going to be exciting as it is the
first race of the year, it is our first at Cal Speed way in Fontana! This
is a milestone for the BMW CR program in SoCal as we are finally able to
race at the premier track in Southern California. You should all be there!

Race Details:

Date - 2/9 and 2/10

Typical Schedule:
7:00am - Gates Open
7:15am - Tech Inspection
8:00am - Drivers Meeting
8:00am - First Race Group
8:20am - First HPDE Run Group
Grab Lunch between your sessions, the track stays hot all day.
5:00pm - Last Run Group
Fees: $379.00

Track:
We will be racing on the short interior road corse. This track is 1.5
miles and has ~10 turns depending upon the config that we select for the
weekend. You can count on a bunch of tight stuff and at least one 100mph
straight.

Prizes:
We will have the standard group of contingency awards from our gracious

- $69+tax for a double queen (must ask for "BMW Club Race" to get rate)
- 20 rooms blocked
- Complementary breakfast 6-10 am

Also, you should all encourage your non-bmw racers to come out and join us
in the racing. We will be having a catch all class as always. We have
only had a few Porsches take us up on this, but this year we are going to
have some more people come racing. They will require a CCA license however.

There is also a driving school/HPDE scheduled for this weekend, so bring
your friends and loved-ones and get them involved!
