std one is fine. Mine has been measured a few times, on one occassion it was just 1db louder than someones 205Gti at 4500rpm (mine was 86db, pug was 85).
I dunno how much a new bimmer box would cost.


Hi,

I have a 89 Evo II with a Scorpion exhaust. To be honest it's really too noisy and the baffle plate in the rear box is resonating at 3000 RPM. I want to get a quite exhaust. so it doesn't roar!! or is this impossible?

I don't know if the standard one is quite or not.

Please advise!!
