well some btcc and gtcc races all the cars are limited to 2.0ltr. i think that is the case right now ,but im not positive i think bmw started racing the E30M3 with 2.0ltr units then homologated with 2.3 ltr motors, then 2.5 ltrs in the last years as the rules in touring car racing changed

produced in order to race in Australia, which I believed had a limitation of 2.0L on the engine size? It's kind of lik the situation w/ the e46 4.0L V8 M3 GTR, where BMW has 2 produce "X" amount of M3 GTRs in order 2 race in the ALMS. It's away 2 go racin'!

PS- Does NE1 know if the 320i Sport uses M3 calipers & 5 lug rotors?
