Adam there are two hoses right there that you might want to replace, one is very difficult to replace while the waterpump is on. Here are the instructions:
1. Drain Coolant.
2. Remove fan with a 32mm wrench (wrench may require grinding to make it slim enough to fit). The threads are backwards, so to loosen it, turn it as if you were tightening it.
3. Remove the alternator belt (19mm and 13mm wrenches).
4. Remove the water pump pulley (4 10mm bolts).
5. Remove the hoses from the water pump.
6. Remove the 7 bolts on the water pump (13mm and 10mm)
7. Throw the old water pump away.
8. Replace the gasket.
9. Install your new water pump.

11-51-1-309-692 Gasket
11-53-1-266-472 Short hose
11-53-1-309-669 Long hose

I ordered the pump from my dealer for 130.00 with gaskets. I called max (thanks matt) and for a price of 106 + 7 for shipping for the pump but that would take 3-4 days to get to me so i just spent the money and got the dealers one cause it will be here in the morning.

Is this a simple unbolt and rebolt up project? With our cars there is always something else that should be done while doing anohter. How do I flush out the cooling sys? I purchased some bmw coolant for the car at the dealer also. I would like to make this a through job and I want to do all that needs to be done while im in there.. Can I run a low pressure hose throught the block to clean it out? or is that just something that is not needed cause the sys is clean as it is??

Thanks again,
Adam p
