If idle is still high after that then you need to replace the idle control valve or Throttle position switch.

Do not do the "ROOKIE" thing and just try to reset base idle.

BEsides, when you get CO adjusted you will also be able to tell if any vaccuum leaks are present by the level of HC.These results will be displayed on a 3 gas analyzer at a profesiional S14 tuning shop.
