The front kick panel speakers are fairly simple to get at. All you have to do is remove the plastic kick panel. The driver side is a little tricky because you have to remove the hood release to remove the kick panel. The tweeters can be removed by prying them off. They are held in by clips but be careful not snap them. One thing you have to remember is that the crossover for the stock tweeters are built into the mid range speakers. Also the wires for the tweeters go thru the door so I would think it would be pain to rewire.
