If I leave my German Mistress idle for 3 or 4 days the battery goes dead??
A friend of mine who also owns an M3 has the same problem.
On my care I thought it was the hack wiring job the previous owner had done for his stereo, someone on this board also mentioned that the heated door locks can be a culprit as well.
Anybody else have a dead battery after the car sits idle for a few days too??

OK I bought a BMW battery for $160 bucks, I was reicked into getting a new alternator, I bought an interstate battery and my battery is still being drained to quickly? I cannot have the car idling for more than 10 min. with lights on before it dies. But the car is fine when being driven at highway speeds. I would like to fix this once and for all!
A) SHould I upgrade my Alternator to 7 series 140amp unit.
B) Should I get a stiffening capacitor? hhmmmmm?
