Thanks, I will check it out.
Will have to find someone to let me out of the trunck then.

happened to me....twice. i found answer on the net , must be somewhat common.

OK I bought a BMW battery for $160 bucks, I was reicked into getting a new alternator, I bought an interstate battery and my battery is still being drained to quickly? I cannot have the car idling for more than 10 min. with lights on before it dies. But the car is fine when being driven at highway speeds. I would like to fix this once and for all!

A) SHould I upgrade my Alternator to 7 series 140amp unit.
B) Should I get a stiffening capacitor? hhmmmmm?

Here is the list of my mods.
Kenwood 8017 CD/MP3 Head unit
Rockford Fosgate 600watt x5 channel amp
Alpine 11 channel EQ
Phillips HID 9006 kit (Xenons)

Thank you!
