Did the ABS sensor get damaged during the repair??
Sometimes they get dirty from brake dust.
Whenever, I work on my brakes I try to clean them off if I remove the hub.

So you actually bought the bearings to rebuild the hub?? I was foolish and bought the complete hub from BMW, supposedly the hub/wheel bearing is rebulidable with a kit or wheel bearings from a 5 Series.

Good luck

Now my abs light comes on, and the first 30 seconds of driving the car after starting it, it feels weird, and If I come to a stop real slow-It's almost like the teeth have to catch-Once this happens, everything is perfect till I turn the car off again. but there are only break pads to the rotor right? the wheel bearings don't play a part there do they? My machanic says I got the wrong bearings- Great excuse to free him of his work- I got the bearings from Turner, and they were exact to the original- Any ideas? Thanks in advance..
