You may have the wrong ABS ring on the hub assembly. The ring is the same size but has less teeth if you have the 5 series part instead. If you have the wrong ring on there now then you may as well order a couple of bearing/hub assemblies because it is unlikely you will get them off without exploding the assembly.

Check the ABS rings to see if Turner gave you the 5 series part. If so they may send you replacements free if you were not aware of the difference.

Just for your info: You can use the E28 5 series hub w/ bearing as a replacement for the original. But you will need to swap the ABS ring from the old hub to the new one.

These hubs are really not rebuildable as some will tell you without some giant work to get it done. You will end up chewing thru a couple of sets of bearings if you tried this so you may as well go ahaead and get the hub w/ bearing.

P.S. If you try to take the hub off the spindle, chances are you will ruin the bearing so be very careful when installing.

Eric
