My 2800CS is stranded and I need to jump it. I've heard it's a bad idea to jump from a Motronic equipped car, but my M2 is all I have running at the moment. I don't want to blow its mind. Is this for real or more myth?

that should not be a problem with your car
as long as you hook up the jumper correctly.the only reason that i know of why BMW recomend not
to or avoid jumpstarting thre car is if your vehicle is equipt with an on board computer
and that only apply to newer car. and even if is a newer car you can still do so providing you pull
fuse #21 before doing so.
