don't forget the paper gasket. I used new hardware, got the rubber protection covers for the top of the shocks b/c I am anal. The total parts cost with CCA discount and tax was $72. The mounts themselves are like 18 bucks each.

Info on the Z3 reinforcement plates is on Gustave's site, www.e30m3performance.com

Install is straightforward, just r&r. Remember to keep the suspension arm supported when you pull the shock, otherwise you will damage the CV joints, as the shock serves as the droop limiter.

Can E36 mounts be used and are they better than the convetible shock mounts. I am not looking to go crazy with heavy duty or gruppe N style. Just something better than stock which don't have a very long life span. Thanks John
