Have you thought about removing the clock / computer square and putting a single guage in that area? To me, a clock is redundant (I wear a watch / clock on the stereo - which you have installed).

The front piece off the clock will do nicely, just detach it from the rear of the clock, cut the circle to requirements, mount your guage, run your wires and presto.
