As you say eric, I don't think the other way round is the correct way to go. The guys at the garage I use have tried bigger on the inlet than exhaust and the car is more driveable. But for making the best power they have found the same on both sides does the trick. It does harm the low speed tourque a little but you gain more further up the power band.

The S14 runs much better w/ bigger cam on intake side than exhaust side.

E2 came w/ different cam on intake and gear only on the exhaust cam.
