With Which purpose you use this products, to clean the AMF, or the engine compartment?

Simple Green cleanerr------------- no help
Mineral spirits/paint thinner----- no help!
Castrol Super clean--------------- no help!
Goo Gone-------------------------- no help!
Goof off-------------------------- no help!
Paint Laquer---------------------- WARNING!!!! WILL REMOVE PAINT!!!!!
Kerosene-------------------------- little help!
Acetone--------------------------- little help!

Now the only thing that can say me would be would be a kerosene type rubbing compound. As well as having boiling water to inhibit the reaction of the chemicals. I was tan colored but now people mistake me for Bald Michael Jackson. How bad would soaking my whole AFM piece be?
