I have seen plenty of other cars advertised FS with lower mileage & what seem to be pristine condition that are more appropriate in their asking price, thus my hesitation.
Biggest issue is that there is sentimental value attached to the car from the seller's standpoint and that he is so damn rich that he doesn't need to sell it for the money. 13.8k for a 91k mile even though runs well and has excellent ext. + interior seems to me that it's a bit over priced...
Are there many of you who has purchased a car from a different city/state than the one you reside? What's your experience and suggestions on that?
Cars like the one you have described are hard to find, which makes the price not so bad! I paid about that for my car about 2.5 years ago, it had flawles paint and perfect interior except the driver seat and only had 29k on the clock. But you dont see deals every day on cars like these. I would consider how long you have looked and what your transportation options are if infact you skip this car, and is there any other cars out there that you would purchase over this one? I mean, if you pay 11k for a car that needs 3k worth of work then I see no reason not to get this car! There are no imediate needs for this car, just about every car has minor sepage and the exhaust is not an issue. I would put my money down and drive away with this car!!
