An out of state purchase is not that hard to do.
Always have a current E30 M3 owner in the area
look at the car for you prior to making any arrangements to buy the car.. It may be helpful
to have that person recommend a shop for mechanical inspection if needed..

I bought my car in Ohio, and I drove 5 hours
from Indiana to buy it.. (Course that was in 1995
and the car had 42K miles on it.).. I had
no problems...
