What's with the Hozer comment? Isn't anyone else allowed a bit of National pride beside U.S.?
My reference was to the so-caled "World Champion" Super bowl Championship,(1 Nation) or the "World series" of baseball (2 Nations).
The Olympics are a true World competition.
As far as the 50 year drought, Both the U.S and Canada have not been allowed to enter NHL players due to the Professional status, even though it hs been well known that Russian players are paid to train and play. So we have been sending second string players to the World Championships.
Anyway, congratulations to the great showing by the U.S in the Olympics...you must be proud.
