They command a loyal following just as M3`s do. I don`t see where you can go wrong if it is as nice as you say. A while back, there was an ix concours winner with a stupid amount of extras that the guy was asking $20K for. Don`t know if it sold, though.
Look on Autotrader.com to see what nice low mileage examples are going for.

my friend has a E46..so Im used to saying "XI"... any price ideas? Just trying to see if its worth it.
