Here in Southern CA there's a local stretch called "Live Oak Canyon". On Sundays there are a lot of Harley bikes and even more crotch rockets. Seems an occasional showing of the Ducati Club (if one exists). I typically run the road on Sundays at 8/10s. None of those guys can touch me. There are a lot of switch backs and decreasing radius turns that i literally throw my car in to. I only run it at 9/10s to 10/10s at night when i have a good warning of traffic coming from the opposite direction because of the lights.

The best competition was a guy in a Dodge Intrepid one night...I was right on his butt but he was definitely going faster then most of the motorcycle guys. Eventually he turned off into the one house that's located on the road. Heh, that explained his speed.
