Ahhh Yes... My welding nightmares. There are four places that the rear sway bar mounts need to be reinforced. I told the welder about this. When I get the car back he says "only one tab was broken so I only welded that one" Great, so a few weeks later the other one pops out. I took it back and had him finish the job. I took it to another welder to have the fronts welded and he only welded one side after I told him to do both sides. To make a really long story short (out of desperation) I took the M3 to Midas muffler shop of all places and they did a fantastic job and welded everything I told them to, no bs, no excuses and it only cost $10.

MarkPike:

You have welded your frame how many times? this is from abuse or poor workmanship of the welder, your choice in either case. out side of "normal wear items" ignition, brakes, fluids, you replaced the shocks @ 130,000 miles and you have had to replace the following in the last 5 years:
Power window switch, Seat belt latch, Side marker light, Starter, minor door trim, replaces the thremastat, replaced your fan clutch and a few gaskets. In five years on a 180,000 mile car. WTF do you want? Stuff wears out man!

GaryH:
Why new rod bearing? Someone forget the oil? or did they track a un-prepped car?
