timing chain upgrade was a better fit. gustave is good, but he does not have all the answers.
the 7 series timing chain tensioner has a spring, but the spring is adjustable unlike the s14.

a few e30 m3s owners i know have the 7 series timing chain tensioner and they swear by it.

i have a buddy with an e36 m3 timing chain tensioner in his e30 m3, but he is converting to yhe 7 series timing chain tensioner.

if anyone has some input, please let it out.
