definitely go for it. It's hard to tell if it'll really prolong the life of your intake gaskets, but it looks like it really should help. The old mount is all rubber (good luck getting that out by the way, mine was way tight, and tore when I tried to unscrew it), the Korman mount is reinforced with metal. It makes sense that it should help your intake gaskets last longer. For $15, it's worth giving it a shot. HTH
