I don't exactly but if you base the labour charges on about 30 p/hour you can get fairly close. Is the inspec.2 the one that includes changing brake, clutch, diff and engine fluids/oils. Adjust valve clearences etc. I think they could do it in a day. The best thing to do is give them a call.

There is a shopping centre, cinema all walking distance from the workshop. Alternatively, chuck your bike in the car, if I could blagg a day off work we could hit the trails.

Roops.

Roops, do you know how much Bexley's would charge for an inspection 2? Also would they be able to do it in a day?
Is there much to do round that way as I'll have to hang around if I go due to the distance.

TIA
DarranP

If the Inspection involves adjusting the valve clearences it may be a two day job. To do it accurately the engine needs to be stone cold, but they should still be able to give you a worst price if they had to adjust all the clearences. You know who I would suggest but the distance is a bit of a problem.

out of Munich Legends?
Every time I contact them for a price for parts or work it's always 'it's about' or 'all depends'.
Recently I visited and asked how much an Inspection 2 would be, Barneys response was "all depends how many shims I have to use for the valves".
This is not the first time Munichs have been unsure of prices, once they increased the price of the plug leads I was going to buy by 50 just before I went to collect them!(I went to Moseleys instead).
Any other specialist garage just give you a price, I don't want to take my car to a garage with a rough idea what I'm going to pay when it is only one task I am asking them to perform.
Don't get me wrong, I'm not having a go at the quality of their work, just the vague info they give.
Sorry for the outburst, and I know that lots of you use Munichs with no problem but I just needed to get that off my chest.
PaulD, how much do you pay Munichs for an inspection 2?
