Where on the Water Temp gauge is the needle when you drive down the road?

Oil temp at 170 is actually normal as you have not yet opened the thermostat to allow cooler to be used.These engines will not run really high oil temps until you really start working the car very hard in 40 degree temps.

I have to be on a track and do a couple of hard laps before the oil temp hits 200-205 and even when I have blocked off the cooler opening in the airdam I can only drive it up to 225-230.
