I have a loose one so I measured it. I mounted mine backwards so that a bit stuck out the end nearest the radiator. TPSes for d-shaped shafts work directly on 8mm...5/16 inch shafts. Like the actual throttle blade shafts. HTH. Or you can use the Audi combo TPS and idle switch in the stock TP switch location...and add an extra 8% more fuel above whatever % throttle the switch engages. The Audi bit is pricey 150-200 bux.
