I have had 2 Passats with the VR6 and nothing but problems.
The engine is quite powerful, but it does not last. Same for trans and drivetrain. I broke several cv joints and even one shaft that sheared right off.
Also the handling of any fwd is ok for street, but when pushed youŽll find the limit very soon.

Stay with the M3, there is just nothing that comes close.

Anyone know anything about these? I am building a 2.5 for my E30 M and want to retire it from daily driver usage...anyone have experience with these cars? Fast? Handling? fun?
