check the u-joints in the drive line,most times they will only make noise under load ,and lifting car will change angle at which driveshaft spins and noise may go away

Take a look at rear wheel bearing. Mine started out similar to what you described and progressed to a pretty loud grind/thump under load and right hand turn. Replaced bearing (not a lot of fun) and all is well.
