My information on ratios is nil, but the E30 M3 (with Sport gearbox)used a Getrag 265/5 gearbox. This box was not apparently used on any other "M" cars. It was used on most other E12, E23, E24, and E28 applications using a close-ratio "Sport" box. The only E30's using the 265 also have S14 motors, i.e. M3 and 320iS. Additionally, BMW seems to have quit using that completely box in 8/82!
