As-far-as spendin' less money 2 up keep, I doubt it. "M" cars keep UR hands in UR pockets & UR bank account balances low.
The e30 M3 cabriolet was only manufactured from 1988-1991 w/786 bein' produced, but some were sold & titled as '92 & '93 cars. They came in basically 2 engine verities, from '88-'89 w/195hp /170 TRQ w/cat., & 200hp/ 177 TRQ w/o cat., & from '89-'91 w/215hp /170 TRQ w/cat. There was only 1 EVO II made which had the 220hp /180 TRQ engine w/cat.
Most e30 M3C are the late model types, 470 were produced & that will probably be the 1 U want.
But they tend 2 be the most expensive. I often C'em priced between £11,000 & £12,500. Check in the classifies of BMW Car, Performance BMW, Classic & Sports Car, & Total BMW. U can also check there web sites, but the mags have more car listings.
Munich Legends & Independent Motor Co. are 2 of the largest sellers of used e30 M3C I know of & I'd tell U 2 check Independent Motor Co. 1st, they have sold many e30 M3Cs. Right now they show no e30 M3Cs listed but call'em & C if they can find U what U want. Here's there link:
PS- U can check www.bmwmregistry.com 4 more info lik color choices etc.
