-Make sure you buy new inner dust shields. chances are when you pull the old hub off the inner bearing race will stay on the spindle. Depending on what your puller looks like you may have to bend the dust shield a little to get the puller around the back side of the race. Once the shield is bent it does not like to go back to round and will most likely make contact with the new hub. Of course you won't find that out until after you have the new hub on. Don't ask how I know!
-I used a 3/8 socket extension in the hollow of the spindle when usuing the puller to take off the hub (vs, bolting a spacer and prybar).
-Heat the new hub before pushing it on to the spindle. I have found that setting the hub on a high watt shop light for 15 minutes will do the trick. If it's too hot to hold onto for any length of time it's about the right temp. If you have the inner race aligned correctly the hub will push right onto the spindle to the point where you can get the nut on to finish it.
As for the 535i hubs, yes, they are the same except for the abs ring and its position. I used an arbor press to remove the rings. You have to be carefull when removing your old rings so that you do not distort them because they are quite weak. I then made a tool to push the rings onto the new hubs with the press(having a machine shop at work rocks). You can probably make the swap using pullers and such but this worked slick for me. And if you have ever thought about putting brake ducts on this is a good time, even if you use one of the kits that doesn't require hub removal (more room=less headache).
